1. PM Modi's 'Pariksha Pe Charcha'  A day ahead of his 'Pariksha pe Charcha' interaction with students, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday shared a series of video tips for them and their parents. The Education Minister has exhorted people to join the session which will begin at 11 am at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi on Friday. 2. Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov arrives in India Mr. Lavrov will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar on Friday. Mr. Lavrov is expected to brief them on the war in Ukraine, peace talks, keeping defence supplies running and alternate payment mechanisms in the face of Western sanctions. 3. 30% tax on crypto income to come into effect from today  Several income tax proposals, including 30% tax on income from trade in cryptocurrencies will come into effect from Friday. While the tax on profits will apply from April 1, 2022, which officials said will not preclude profits already booked before that date from the tax liability, the TDS provisions aimed at creating a transaction trail for the tax authorities, will kick in from July 1. 4. Russia-Ukarine conflict continues Heavy fighting rages near Kyiv as Russia appears to regroup in Ukraine.
